Sponsoring: we are looking for people who like to sponsor the care for Hannah for an amount of € 100 per month (or for partly sponsoring).

In January 2024 we met Hannah in Kumasi Children’s Home and soon after that, in February 2024, she came to our PCC – Hand in Hand Community in Nkoranza.

Hannah was about 15 years when we met her first. We learned that she was abandoned by her family in 2022 in Konongo.

She is deaf and also not speaking.

Hannah has a moderate intellectual disability and proves to be a very introverted girl.

In PCC we tried to make her a bit more active by bringing her to the sheltered workshop, but it seems she doesn’t like that too much.

During her first year in PCC Hannah has often been sick, mainly because of gastrointestinal disorders and when receiving treatment she is even more inactive.

We will allow Hannah in PCC to live her life as she likes it most, but will also try everything to make her life more happy and active.
