He came to our Community from the Osu Children’s Home (OCH) in Accra.

A few years ago, he was found wandering the streets in Accra and subsequently brought to OCH by the police and Social Welfare.

His family was never traced and, despite searching for him, never came forward.

Simon PK (PaaKwasi) has Down syndrome and is a happy and positive person.

When he arrived at PCC (spring 2025), he was approximately 18 years old.

He appears to be adapting quickly and well to his new surroundings, and it soon seems as if he has been here already for years.
