Sponsoring: we are looking for sponsoring for Markus for an amount of € 100 per month (also possible: partly sponsoring)

In January 2024 we saw a little babyboy of about 9 months of age in Kumasi Children’s Home (KCH) and in February 2024 Markus came to our PCC – Hand in Hand Community in Nkoranza.

He was abandoned in the Kwadaso area in Kumasi in June 2023 and from there he was brought to KCH.

When found he was seen by a doctor who made a CT-scan that showed serious braing damage, most likely due to a birth trauma.

He is also suffering from epilepsy and has impaired vision.

During his first year in PCC we saw only little progress. At an age of 18 months he was not yet able to sit by himself or to crawl. He is also not talking or even making sounds.

The caregivers in PCC are giving him lots of attention, he is cuddled by almost everyone.

Markus is very welcome in PCC and we hope that gradually he will show more progress in his development, despite his brain damage.
