Adam was found wandering in the center of Accra in January 2026 and was subsequently transferred to Osu Childrens Home by the police.

Since then, Social Welfare and the police have been unable to trace his family. Therefore, unfortunately, nothing is known about his background.

In July 2026, he came from OCH to PCC, after which it quickly became clear that he feels completely at home here.

Adam was approximately 5 to 6 years old at the time he was wandering.

He has no physical disabilities; it appears he has a healthy body.

However, he does have delayed intellectual development and he has some characteristics of the autistic spectrum.

Adam hardly speaks (and is then difficult to understand), but he listens when caregivers are calling him.

Adam laughs a lot and enjoys walking around the compound. He can sometimes tease other children (e.g.: King Saul), but fortunately, he responds well to correction.

We believe that Adam can continue to develop well here, while simultaneously enjoying the freedom and good life here at PCC.
